1.
When the church bells rang, I ran to the forest to give my blessings there, to give my blessings there - and I saw you fading, I saw you Up in the air... Your sycamore moustache fell into my hand, and I treasure it but I understand that real magic cannot really be seen or held, just felt... Yet still it helps me, it helps me, it helps me, it helps me over all these centuries, and across those hundreds of miles, to feel the radiance of your smiles And irresistibly, though I miss you terribly, and irresistibly, though I miss you, I smile too.

Magnetised 05:00
Magnetised, this girl has magnets for eyes Magnetised, this girl has magnets for eyes She sees all the beautiful things, She is drawn into the woodland by the rhythms underground And the sound of many moving wings, And the distant call of the tawny owl …. Deeper and further and Longer and wider and Stronger and wilder and Brighter she grows Deeper and further and Longer and wider and Stronger and wilder and Brighter she goes… She finds the heartbeat of the earth, and she Feels the earth beat in her heart She finds the heartbeat of the earth, and she Feels the earth beat in her heart (pulsing air, inspiration, awen) Deeper and further and Longer and wider and Stronger and wilder and Brighter she grows Deeper and further and Longer and wider and Stronger and wilder and Brighter she goes…

L-plates 04:31
Inside my cocoon I’ve been dreaming of How else I could be being, Of the wings I could be growing from This piece of cloth That I’m sewing – Put L-Plates on my heart, Getting ready to go outside, I’m a learner, I’m a liver, I’m a lover Almost ready to come alive, Put L-Plates on my heart, Getting ready to go outside, I’m a learner, I’m a liver, I’m a lover Almost ready to come alive… It all must come unravelling, Deep into present travelling, Into myself evolving, Dissolve in the darkness And then dawning… Put L-Plates ‘bove my eyes Getting ready to go outside, I’m a learner, I’m a liver, I’m a lover Almost ready to open wide Put L-Plates ‘bove my eyes Getting ready to go outside, I’m a learner, I’m a liver, I’m a lover Almost ready to open wide… Oh my cocoon unravels into a ball of twine, now it’s onwards I must travel in this tapestry of time… Put L-Plates on my wings Now I’m ready to go outside, I’m a learner, I’m a liver, I’m a lover And I’m ready to come alive Put L-Plates on my wings Now I’m ready to go outside, I’m a learner, I’m a liver, I’m a lover And I’m ready to come alive… ALIVE!

Weeds 04:58
There’s no need to be a weed in the garden, There’s no need to be a weed in the garden, There’s room for all beans in the garden – Just gotta find the right patch of earth in the garden So we can both grow wild and free in the garden, Get strong and tall for all to see in the garden We’re just moving homes in the garden - It's for the best for now in the garden But still I miss your leaves kissing mine, Our trunks touching, our roots entwined Still I miss your leaves kissing mine, Our trunks touching, our roots entwined... The bees can be our messengers in the garden, The bees can be our messengers in the garden Til we're both string and tall enough in the garden To meet again in a deeper and higher place In the garden. Now it’s all we must do, feel our way, feed our souls with food from the soil and the sun in the garden, All we must do, feel our way, feed our souls with food from the soil and the sun, Yeah it’s all we must do, feel our way feed our souls with food from the soil and the sun in the garden, All we must do… There’s no need to be a weed in the garden, There’s no need to be a weed in the garden, There’s no need to be a weed in the garden, There’s no need to be a weed…

Fool's Gold 06:50
I have decided to explore, So don’t you tell me where I need to go! I have decided to explore, So don’t you tell me know I need to be! You won’t catch me – I’m protected by my freedom, You won’t catch me, even if I fall. You won’t catch me – I’m protected by my freedom, You can’t catch me, even if I fall… Let the pearls of my truth Stir into co-creation, Life is just a big mix-up as the Gods They raise their cocktail-cups, We’re losing the battle with living perfection As mischief shoots his bow and arrows through us all… I have decided to explore, So don’t you tell me where I need to go. I have decided to explore, So don’t you tell me know I need to be. You won’t catch me – I’m protected by my freedom, You won’t catch me, even if I fall. You won’t catch me – I’m protected by my freedom, You can’t catch me, even if I fall… Let my anger swirl down the Plughole to the Underworld, and Emerge shining, with its sweet strength And its good word Powering my heart and fresh on my lips, ‘cause it’s with these arrows that we cannot miss… I have decided to explore, So don’t you tell me where I need to go. I have decided to explore, So don’t you tell me know I need to be. You won’t catch me – I’m protected by my freedom, You won’t catch me, even if I fall. You won’t catch me – I’m protected by my freedom, You won’t catch me, even if I fall… Oh but how could I think of moving on that fast? Wasn’t ready to leave your magic land behind – how could I think of moving on that fast? I still want it in my life… I have decided to explore And I won’t let treasure pass me by, But we won’t live for wanting more If it’s fool’s gold that Gets into our eyes… How could I think of moving on so fast? Wasn’t ready to leave your magic land behind… The calls of the future echo in the past And guide us towards the light. Guide us towards the light…

Never let me get too high for you, never let me get too low for you – Let’s meet in the middle together, whatever the weather, and build a Bridge of Truth. I saw mackerel sky over head, and I closed off my heart, But now I open up again as it’s the greatest place to start It’s Power of Vision cascading down the mountains, into a pool of clarity, Power of Vision cascading down the mountains into a pool of clarity. I saw my face in the mirror of the lake, looking for truth and to wash away mistakes; I felt the way the sky looks at the sea, in all its rolling changeability… And it’s Power of Vision Cascading down the mountains into a pool of clarity, Power of vision cascading down the mountains into a pool of clarity… Heron digs his feet in, neck cranes to the sky, he dips his beak in and then Opens wide to fly; I dip my toes in, and try to grow wings, but how can we shed skins if we’re born being told we’re sinners? Heron digs his feet in, neck cranes to the sky – he dips his beak in and then opens wide to fly… I dip my toes in, and try to grow wings, but how can we learn things if we’re born being told we must be winners? Power of Vision cascading down the mountains into a pool of clarity, Power of vision cascading down the mountains, into a pool of clarity. Never let me get too high for you, Never let me get too low for you – Let’s meet in the middle together, whatever the weather, and build a bridge of truth, build a bridge of truth, Build a Bridge of Truth

I have here everything I need, except the alchemy to bring a magic thing to being from parts lost out at sea Oh, will you make a fire with me from driftwood on the beach? We could cook a pot of salty sea – love potion of the fish I’ve saved every matchstick we used to keep our Hearth of old alive, But it will take a greater warmth to Roll in on this tide… Sitting on this rock alone on this blue island, Long time it’s been my home, This blue island Eryri, ble wyt ti? Eryri, rwy’n dy garu di… Well sailors these days cannot tell between mermaids and sirens who’re a-singing – One must have a clear head and a careful ear for listening. But I trust in my love to decipher the winds, for he’s a great musician and gives plenty of space for the silence of things when it’s tunes that he’s out fishing… Eryri, ble wyt ti? Eryri, rwy’n dy garu di… Well I’ve got a waterproof heart, So tears don’t get to me, I’ve got a waterproof heart, so I can swim these seas If I swim to you, will you Sail to me, using maps of the stars and songs of the ocean? We’ll travel much further than our eyes can see, to Where the horizon meets with our dreams. If I swim to you, will you Sail to me, using maps of the stars and songs of the ocean? We’ll travel much further than our eyes can see, to where the horizon meets with our dreams… I sew up my two legs once more at the seams – For my waterproof heart, a deep blue tail and fins. It’s a different kind of alchemy that unites two lovers’ limbs; we leave our old selves on the shore for the tide to take back in.

As I walked under the apple tree, A rosy fruit fell down. As I walked under the apple tree, It knocked off my gold crown. Oh, if you could see me now, Without my golden crown, Oh, if you could see me now, Without my velvet gown… Oh river running through my heart Is red as any blood, And feet cannot be told apart From roots buried in mud. Star inside the apple fruit, You hold the tiny key, Go look inside your own red heart And follow what you see… As I walked under the apple tree, A rosy fruit fell down. As I walked under the apple tree, It knocked off my gold crown. Oh, if you could see me now, Without my golden crown, Oh, if you could see me now, Without my velvet gown… Oh river running through my heart Is red as any blood, And lips cannot be told apart From roses new in bud. Star inside the apple fruit, You hold the tiny key, Go look inside your own red heart And from your masks be free… Beyond the mask, the river flows, Beyond the mask, wildflowers grow, Beyond the mask, the heart it knows, Beyond the mask, true power shows, Oh it shows. As I walked under the apple tree…

about

a selection of live tracks from small gigs over the last few years - intertwined with the sound of stream that runs down from the hill that guards our home and through our magical barn.

an album of wholehearted imperfection <3

Knowing this is a difficult financial time for many, I've made it a 'pay-as-you-feel' album, so please do give what you are moved to, and can afford... If this is nothing, please feel equally entitled to download yourself a copy.
